About Onyx Guard Services
Onyx offers security guards that are distinct and superior. All security guards are thoroughly screened, trained, and tested before being allowed in the field to ensure the client receives the best possible service. As the client, you dictate the role that the security guard will perform through a set of post orders that outline all of the security guards responsibilities.

The mission statement incorporates the three main principles of Onyx Guard Services Inc.
Firstly, our company strives to be professional in all aspects of services, from our guards to upper management which demonstrates our first principle of professionalism. We expect all members of our corporation to act in a professional manner.
Our second principle is customer service, which illustrates the commitment of all employees to provide superior customer service to any member of the public they come into contact with. Any employee interaction with any individual reflects and has an impact on Onyx, our clients, and the private security industry as a whole. This is why everyone employed with Onyx will communicate with the public/clients in a professional customer service orientated fashion.
Lastly, our third principle is having a community orientated approach to our services. Onyx recognizes the vast differences of cultures and individuals in our society and as such, employees will act in a professional and appropriate manner with any individual to ensure that no individual is discriminated against.

Online Reporting & Mobile App
All guards and clients will have access to the Onyx online based reporting program. Guards will be able to complete reports in real time which will then be accessible by clients. Reports are stored securely and can be retrieved by clients anytime. Our online based reporting helps to eliminate paper reports which can be lost or misplaced. In addition, All guards and clients will have access to the Onyx Mobile app. The mobile app allows guards to make notes and reports in real time on a mobile device as an event is unfolding, instead of having to return to a work station to complete the report. Clients will then be able to receive notifications of events/reports and view them in real time on their mobile device.
Before being hired, potential guards must prove that they have completed all government training/testing and possess sufficient knowledge of the security industry and appropriate laws by completing Onyx testing. Once the guard has passed all of Onyx’s pre-employment tests, the guard will be required to complete the Onyx employee training course. The Onyx Employee Training Course provides guards with knowledge of company policies, procedures, WHMIS/Occ. health and Safety, Tactical Communication, Scenario based training, and many other topics. When employees complete the course, they may be subject to further training before being sent to a site at the clients request.
